Led by a Richmond native who is passionate about serving our RVA community
Dr. Maguire Brinkley, Psy.D., personally leads every part of the clinical work at Brinkley Psychology — assessments, therapy, school visits, and parent consultations. When you work with the practice, you partner directly with her from start to finish.
Born and raised in Richmond, Dr. Brinkley earned her doctorate from Loyola University Maryland. She completed specialized training at Children's National Hospital (Washington, DC), Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and Loyola Clinical Centers (Baltimore, MD), and the Center for Assessment and Treatment (Chevy Chase, MD).
Every path starts with a free consultation
Before any testing, we talk. It’s a no-cost, no-pressure call to understand what’s going on and decide the right next step together.
Reach out
A short call or message about what’s going on. No paperwork, no commitment.
Talk it through
We listen, answer your questions, and help you decide whether an assessment makes sense — and which service fits.
Plan together
If it’s a fit, we schedule. If another path serves you better, we’ll point you toward it.
